What is the right time to drink?
As we are aware of the benefits of turmeric milk, you might be wondering what is the right time to drink? Morning or during night. Well, it would be more beneficial to drink turmeric milk before going to bed. It also helps in reducing stress, relaxes your body and makes you fall asleep fast.
What is the right amount of intake?
It is recommended that adults are required to drink one glass of milk with one pinch of turmeric powder on daily basis. For kids you can slightly reduce the quantity. It is helpfull in protecting your body from common flu, cold, cough arising from weather changes.
What is the right procedure to prepare turmeric milk?
It has to be noted that, the benefits of turmeric milk can be taken only when it is consumed hot or warm. Not only milk but any food for that matter has to be consumed hot otherwise germs in the environment start functioning once food becomes cold. Turmeric milk has to be consumed hot to get the soothing effect to our body.
So now, heat one glass of milk per person in a vessel on high flame on a gas stove. Once it reaches it's boiling point, it rises. Here you have to reduce the flame then drop a pinch of turmeric powder and boil for another two minutes and when it rises again, switch off the gas. With a view to clear any ambiguities related to turmeric milk preparation, you can watch the below embedded video.
Milk must be boiled for another few minutes after it reaches boiling point (100 degrees Celsius). Because the worms in milk dies only after it is heated more than a boiling point i.e 100 degrees Celsius. Further you can not put turmeric powder at the initial stage because milk is sensitive and may burst any time when it comes in contact with outside elements. So it has to be put only after milk rises (i.e boils completely) as shown in the video. After that you have to wait till it is boiled properly and then switch off the gas. Then sieve it and drink.
Finally our Immunity Booster is ready and now it's time to sip like tea or coffee when it is hot, to reap the maximum benefit out of it. This is highly recommended by ayurvedic doctors especially during pandemic like corona. In order to protect yourself do try at home and let me know your views.
